NB LIFE & COMMUNITY GROUPS
Discover Deeper Community with Life Groups
Life Groups & Community Groups are an essential part of our church family. As a community-focused church, both inside and outside our walls, these groups have been a tremendous blessing.
We understand that life can be busy, and adding something new might feel overwhelming. But for those seeking meaningful connections and a deeper sense of belonging, Life Groups offer the perfect opportunity.
Community Groups are another way to connect, offering interest-based gatherings like luncheons, cornhole, thrifting, and more. No matter your schedule, we hope you’ll join us this fall to experience the joy of community.
Our Fall Groups are launching now! Simply scroll below to explore our group leaders and sign up.
Meet The Glenn's

We are a group of fun loving, bible believing folks. We offer a mixture of youthful exuberance and life experience. That is to say, we are open to young and old alike. However, we do not have child care available. We meet at our home at 5061 Sequatchie Mountain Rd on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. For this next semester we will be delving into Psalms 23 utilizing the book 'A Shepherd Looks at Psalms 23' by Philip Keller. If you can grab a copy beforehand that would be outstanding. [It is available on Amazon.] We love discussions, praying for one another and just having a good time while praising the Lord and looking into His word.
Meet The Hoopers

Our Family Life Group meets on Sundays immediately following second service in the fellowship hall, every other Sunday. Kick off is on September 14th. We gather together for a potluck meal and a time of fellowship around the table. After lunch, we will either discuss the Sunday sermon or choose a Bible study together that helps us grow in faith and community.
This group is designed for families, and kids are welcome to attend. We believe that spiritual growth happens best in community—sharing food, conversation, encouragement, and prayer as we walk with Jesus together.
If you’re looking for a place to connect with other families, grow in God’s Word, and share life together, we’d love for you to join us!
Meet The Pennings

Our Life Group, led by Brian and Hayley Pennings, meets every other Monday evening at 6:00 PM in our home. Each gathering begins with a themed potluck meal, giving us a chance to share good food and meaningful fellowship around the table. From there, our focus will be on Faith—Praying for Results and Trusting in God’s Direction. Together, we’ll encourage one another to seek the Lord, pray with expectation, and lean into His guidance for our lives.
This group is open to families, and children are welcome to attend. Braxton will be happy to help keep them entertained while adults connect and grow. We believe life is best lived in community, and this group is a place to share conversation, encouragement, and prayer as we walk with Jesus together.
If you’re looking for a place to build friendships, deepen your faith, and trust God more fully, we’d love for you to join us!
Meet The Critzon's & Rogers

50+ Seekers for Christ is hosted by John & Katie Critzon and Stuart & Susan Rogers, alternating every other meeting between the Critzon and Rogers homes in Jasper Highlands. We’ll gather on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 10:00 AM–11:30ish, beginning September 18. Light refreshments will be provided.
Our vision is simple: Doing life together. Each gathering will include fellowship, discussion around the week’s sermon, and conversations about real-life issues we face. This is not meant to be a deep study, but rather a time to connect, encourage one another, and grow together in Christ.
Childcare will not be provided, but we’d love for you to come, enjoy community, and share in meaningful conversation as we walk with Jesus together.
